Just a short post today, but I was so struck by this photo, knowing you can’t start at the top and build DOWN.
How often do we think it should get easier after we get going? Sometimes that’s the case. We get the hang of it.
We know WHAT we’re doing, just not for how long!
How long Lord? Can’t this get easier yet?
The outcome is always worth it!
650 stairs. Imagine how this was built…one step at a time, framework, how many steps (without an Apple watch to count them).
Imagine the trial of it. And then—imagine how hard it would get! It would actually get increasingly harder as you progressed!
How often do we give into the voice that says, “this is too much, no one should expect this from you.”
What if they stopped building this one flight of stairs shy of the goal?
But they built to the top. And millions of people are taking the “challenge” to climb this amazing structure.
Because they persevered, others can enjoy the perspective; the view.
Whatever trial your facing, no matter how much harder its growing; you’re building stairs for the generation behind you to climb.
You are creating the place for them to start building from.
It matters. You matter! Keep building, keep walking, keep creating, until you breakthrough and not a second earlier—
You just might be the inspiration someone else needs
